indoor and outdoor play spaces

inside there is a toy shelf with books and other materials used primarily for language development. everything in the child's reach is stored in an orderly, accessible way, so that they will choose what interests them, and be able to find it again, without the aid of an adult, instilling a sense of freedom and self confidence.

on the patio the child finds a double sided chalk board, a table just the right size for art projects or a place to eat snack, a shelf that stores all of the tools ready for use in the sand pit and at the water table.

our outdoor space is shady and cool all morning, weather permitting, we will spend half of a three hour cycle enjoying the sand pit, water table, swings, and other outdoor equiptment.

children at this age explore and learn through their senses, and we are there to give them the language to begin to express their thoughts and feelings about what they have encountered.

new extended hours for those in muay thai training
Since we are small and based out of our home, we have flexible hours, and would like to offer a special deal for those doing Muay Thai trainings in the early mornings (7-10am) and late evenings (3-6 or 4-7pm).
However these hours are not limited to Muay Thai trainings only, if you like to beat the heat and get out for some exercise in those cool early and late hours of the day, this is a great option for your children to socialize and play here in a safe and stimulating environment.
Please call or email me to see our pricing options, or to get any further information.

open house pictures
We had a relaxing Saturday morning, with the little ones busy playing, we had a long interesting talk about the state of education around Phuket and elsewhere! I got so involved, I almost forgot to take pictures. Here's a few from the end of a peaceful two hours. At noon, the first tears were shed at the prospect of having to go home.

our first group is in session!
Our two-day per week, three-hour cycle has begun Monday and Tuesday mornings! During the cycle we have free choice play to socialize and explore, building muscle coordination, followed by music and movement exercises. We take a break for a snack, and get back to work with more subdued activity, such as art or science projects based around a theme for language development, and to build concentration through repetition. We begin and end with greetings in song and review new language and concepts with a closing game.
Find out more about our hours, pricing and any other information by contacting me directly by email.

our purpose
Our purpose is to give very young children a sense of order and security so they feel free and confident to pursue their interests, developing their fine and gross motor skills, minds, spirits and intuition to their fullest potential. In an environment that is set to the size and ability of very young children, they feel at home, and are challenged by their innate curiosity. Through the guidance of a caring, well-trained, native English-speaking adult, children develop the abilities to care for themselves, their surroundings, and compassionately interact with others. Through art and science based activities, they follow their own natural tendency to explore their world through their senses, preparing themselves for a lifelong love of learning.
